Pool fencing has to meet the Queensland Pool Safety Standard (AS1926): vertical gaps no more than 100mm, the right height, a non-climbable zone, and a self-closing, self-latching gate that opens outward. We are licensed pool safety inspectors (PS15495259 & PS15528121), so we install aluminium pool fencing to pass compliance the first time.
Will aluminium fencing rust in our climate?
No. Aluminium does not rust, and the powder-coat finish is UV-stable, so it holds up well in Townsville heat and humidity and near the coast. It is one of the lowest-maintenance fences you can buy.
